We live in a day when a growing number of Christians are unclear about the essentials of the Christian faith and uncertain about why they believe what they believe. This is especially the case, when it comes to the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are many reasons for this, but one I believe is that many people are developing their theology from sources other than the Scriptures (i.e. the internet). This is one of the key reasons I feel impelled to make our way through the book of Romans.

Revive Us Again

Revival is a divine visitation that infuses spiritual life in our Christian experience. The word revive means ‘to bring back to life’ and denotes the awakening of Christians and churches to a renewed, vibrant relationship with God. A survey of the Bible and Christian history bears testimony to God repeatedly kindling the fires of revival. When there is spiritual decline, in response to prayer, the Holy Spirit restores spiritual vitality to our individual lives as well as the community of God’s people. This is our prayer.
